OMG! Education is focused on creating opportunities for folks to explore, experiment, and move through their creative curiosities. OMG! Studios offers a variety of workshops to promote education and community through learning.

OMG! Education offers both Pop-Up Workshops and Workshop Series such as Killing Darlings, a short term low stakes writing group and festivals such as Sheesh: Issa Blackity Black Joy Fest.

Killing Darlings

A short-term, low-stakes, writing group for all.

They say to become a great writer, you must “kill your darlings” and that’s what we aim to do in this OMG! Education Workshop Series. Welcoming writers of all kinds and levels, Killing Darlings is a group of 6 writers meeting virtually every 2 weeks to workshop plays, scripts, poems, novels, etc.

Pop-Up Workshops

OMG! Education offers a variety of Pop-Up Workshops for a variety of audiences. Previous OMG! Education workshops include Paint & Sip and K-Pop: The Karaoke Pop-Up (Virtual) Workshop. OMG! Studios continues its mission to create opportunities for Love and Education to thrive through art.
